Our Marketing & Communications interns work hand-in-hand with members of our brand management and digital influence teams to deliver our clients’ messages to their audiences. From pitching the media to developing social media campaigns, you’ll learn how marketing communications can impact the bottom line, growing your skillsets along the way.

Our Media Planning & Buying interns work directly with Markstein’s Media Solutions team. They will learn about the entire paid media process and gain real-life experience planning, buying and reporting for agency clients.

Our Public Affairs intern will work directly with the D.C. office’s president and vice president as well as the rest of the team in Markstein’s Birmingham headquarters. The Public Affairs intern will gain a firsthand look at agency life and contribute to actual agency/client work.

Interns must be a current junior or senior pursuing a degree in marketing, public relations, communications, graphic design, political science, international relations, business or a related field. But more than anything, we are looking for go-getters who are eager to learn from our team and make their own contributions to the agency.
