Shelly Fulks combines brand management experience with project management skills to create cohesive experiences for clients. At Markstein, she has supported clients such as Rheumatology Research Foundation, LIST Birmingham and This is Alabama.
Prior to joining Markstein, Shelly worked as a contract account coordinator for Wilbron, Inc. where she developed social media strategies and calendars, managed press relations and built email initiatives. She also interned with Peritus Public Relations, Maury Regional Medical Group and Farm Bureau Health Plans where she secured speaking opportunities, created blog content, drafted press releases and created new lines of marketing materials.
Shelly holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from Samford University. She was chosen as the department’s outstanding public relations student in 2020.
