LaKesha Agee helps manage Markstein’s operations as an accounting and operations specialist. She supports accounting, media and human resources aligning billing, payments and administration of human resource benefits.
She has more than 10 years of experience in accounts payable, reconciliations, policy administration, workers compensation, benefits administration, employee relations and compliance reporting working for Books-A-Million in the finance and human resource departments. She worked to create policies that are FLSA compliant and fundamental to decreasing turnover. She began her operations career at Slaughter-Hanson Advertising as a receptionist and then as an accountant at Style Advertising. During her previous role in the logistics industry, LaKesha led a team to improve payment processes and maintain vendor relationships.
LaKesha is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also holds an associate professional certificate in human resources.
