With more than 30 years of public relations experience garnered at some of the largest public relations firms in the world, Becci Hart specializes in the consumer and healthcare industries. She has worked with national clients, such as Chick-fil-A, Courtyard by Marriott Hotels, Lowe’s Home Improvement and UPS.
Before joining the Markstein team, Becci worked at the Intermark Group for more than 20 years. She served as president of their public relations division. While there, she was charged with changing the perception of Alabama as a tourist destination, where the team conducted desk side interviews with travel media and hosted an Alabama dinner with social media influencers. She worked with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, St. Vincent’s Health Systems and Encompass Health. Becci also lead Troy University through the pandemic, encouraging anyone wanting to better themselves in the uncertainty, to participate in a free online course on leadership.
Prior to moving to Birmingham, she was with public relations powerhouses, Cohn & Wolfe and Edelman Worldwide. She was part of Edelman’s team that originally opened their office in Atlanta. Becci was shortlisted for a Cannes Lion in the public relations category for work done on behalf of Mohawk Carpets. Becci was named a Woman of the Year by the Birmingham Business Journal and Public Relations Director of the Year by Birmingham Advertising Federation. She graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in marketing.
