Markstein is pleased to announce that award-winning Time Inc. veteran Chris Hoke has joined its team as executive creative director. In this role, Hoke will lead Markstein’s full-service creative offering, including print, film, digital and experiential communications.
“Chris brings a creative vision that will take our work to the next level,” said Danny Markstein, founder and chairman. “His experience developing campaign concepts and leading them through all stages of the creative process position our agency to deliver innovative outcomes for brands in a diverse range of industries. We’re truly thrilled to have Chris join our team.”
Hoke brings to Markstein more than 20 years of experience, including more than 10 years at Time Inc., during which he served as art director for Southern Living magazine, creative director for marketing and advertising on the Southern Living brand and finally as a creative director for Time Inc.’s corporate creative team. While at Time Inc., Hoke was awarded the 2012 Time Inc. Brilliance Award, named a Southern Living Marketer of the Year in 2014 and 2015, and selected for the 2016 Time Inc. Chairman’s Club.

Throughout his career, Hoke has worked with brands including Wal-Mart, The Coca-Cola Company, The Ritz-Carlton, QVC, American Cancer Society and Tenet Healthcare. Hoke is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College and the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
